The Sprott Silver Strategy is an actively managed proprietary portfolio managed by members of the Sprott Gold Team, and is exclusively available through Sprott Asset Management USA.
Investment Objective
The Sprott Silver Strategy seeks to achieve long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equity securities of companies directly or indirectly involved in the exploration, mining, production and/or distribution of silver bullion. The Strategy can also invest in silver bullion ETFs (exchange traded funds).
Actively Managed
To achieve the Strategy’s investment objective, the investment management team will employ fundamental analysis to seek to identify securities with compelling investment opportunities that have the potential for capital appreciation over the long-term. This involves seeking out undervalued companies backed by strong management teams and solid business models that can benefit from macroeconomic trends.
The Strategy may also invest in silver in the form of bullion ETFs when deemed appropriate. At times, the Fund may choose to temporarily invest in cash or cash equivalent securities as a defensive strategy or for other reasons. The Strategy will seek investments in companies at all stages of the mining life cycle, focusing on producing, advanced exploration and development companies.
