Ivanhoe Mines - Platreef, South Africa - Feb 2016

Andrew Jackson visited Ivanhoe's Platreef PGM-Cu-Ni project in N South Africa on February 11, 2016.  Ivanhoe is advancing the PGM property, with the #1 shaft down to 56m.  The headframe for this new shaft has been built on site in 4 parts, and the parts were ready for lifting into place to be connected when he visited.  Shaft sinking in earnest will then begin.

Construction of a second, larger shaft will begin in 2016.
