Pilot Gold - Halilağa, W Turkey - Sept 2013

Andrew Jackson visited Pilot Gold’s TV Tower and Halilağa properties on the Biga Peninsula, western Turkey, on 19-20 September 2013.

Halilağa is owned 40% by Pilot and 60% by Teck.  It is a fairly typical Cu-Au porphyry located ~40 km ESE of the regional center of çanakkale and accessed via the the 4-lane main road to çan.  Once on the property, access is via a sparse network of forestry roads and tracks cut for drill access. Halilağa has a published I&I resource of 367 Mt @ 0.26% Cu, 0.28 g/t Au (Au equiv of 9.8 Moz).  Just under half of this is Indicated.  There is a very small inferred oxide gold resource (95 Koz @ 0.6 g/t) which may be heap leachable.  The bulk of the sulfide mineralization would need to be milled and floated to produce a concentrate.
